Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restructuring Senior to join our team in the Cayman Islands. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile local and cross-border insolvency cases in a dynamic, tax-free environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a diverse portfolio of corporate recovery and restructuring engagements, including liquidations, financial investigations, and litigation support. You will support senior management, demonstrate a strong understanding of insolvency frameworks, and apply your expertise to solve complex financial problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily execution of corporate recovery cases, including court-supervised insolvencies, liquidations, and restructurings, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Conduct detailed financial investigations and analysis, prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders, and provide robust litigation support.
  • Act as a key client contact, demonstrating a strong understanding of engagement strategies and plans, while exercising excellent judgment and foresight in decision-making.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects, create efficient processes to meet tight deadlines, and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • An internationally recognized insolvency, accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA), and/or legal qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience, specifically working on Court-supervised insolvency and restructuring cases.
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of insolvency principles and corporate recovery frameworks.
  • Exceptional report writing skills and a proven ability to manage multiple projects through to completion under tight deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience gained within the UK restructuring and insolvency market is highly desirable.
  • Experience with cross-border insolvency cases.
