Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Delivery: Drive the planning, execution, and completion of complex water and utilities infrastructure initiatives from inception through to sign-off.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary point of contact for external partners, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to ensure transparent communication and alignment on key milestones.
• Resource & Budget Management: Manage project scopes, schedules, risk registers, and financial allocations to consistently deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Process Optimization: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement modern project management methodologies to enhance efficiency and scalability across project lifecycles.
• Quality & Compliance: Maintain rigorous oversight of health, safety, environmental, and industry-specific regulatory standards across all active sites and workstreams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Industry Expertise: Proven track record as a Project Manager managing assets, networks, or infrastructure within the water or broader utilities sector.
• Location: Based in or easily commutable to London, with a deep understanding of local infrastructure standards and stakeholder environments.
• Methodology: Strong knowledge of recognized project management frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, or PMP).
• Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to mitigate project risks, resolve technical bottlenecks, and adapt swiftly to evolving operational needs.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of building trust with diverse commercial and technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience or interest in leveraging AI tools, automation, or software platforms to optimize infrastructure workflows.
• Familiarity with NEC3/NEC4 contracts within the UK utilities landscape.
• Professional chartership or working towards formal accreditation (e.g., CEng, MAPM).
