Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-orientated Business Analyst to join our Capital Markets team for a 3-month contract. This role is pivotal in ensuring our operations align with stringent regulatory requirements. You will serve as the primary liaison between the business community and operations, managing critical information flow from external vendors and internal stakeholders to drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Alignment: Collaborate with key stakeholders across business functions to ensure all processes meet regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Information Management: Gather, document, and communicate information from external vendors to internal teams, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • Process Improvement: Analyse business functions to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and resolve complex operational problems.
  • Documentation: Maintain and update all project-related documentation to reflect current regulatory environments and operational workflows.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a bridge between the business units and operations, providing clear communication on regulatory impacts and technical requirements.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1) 2-4 years’ relevant working experience in Capital Markets

2) Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines.

3) Intermediate skills with MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Nice-To-Have Skills:

1) Vendor management experience

Soft Skills Required:

Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Ability to solve problems/ processes and understand complex details.

Ability to increase operating efficiency and produce high quality solutions.

A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level.

Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions.

Education:

Bachelor's degree/Masters preferred
