Role Overview Zef Scientific is a leader in multivendor maintenance and service solutions for LCMS and analytical instruments. We are seeking a results-driven Account Manager to manage and grow relationships within the New Jersey, USA territory. As the primary point of contact, you will drive service contract renewals, identify new business opportunities, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction across biotech, pharma, and research laboratories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients across academic, clinical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology sectors
  • Proactively identify opportunities to provide value and expand service offerings based on clients’ scientific and operational needs
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and service contract solutions while negotiating terms and pricing in alignment with company policies
  • Collaborate with internal sales, technical, and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery and monitor account performance metrics
  • Attend industry events and conferences to represent Zef Scientific and expand the professional network within the territory

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the life sciences industry, with at least 1–2 years in account management or sales
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships at all levels
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with LCMS instruments and laboratory workflows
  • Prior experience working directly within a laboratory environment
