Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team in Howell, MI. The successful candidate will be responsible for joining metal components using various welding techniques, ensuring all products meet our high-quality standards and structural specifications. This role is vital for maintaining our production schedule and supporting the fabrication of custom industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and other alloys.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment including grinders, torches, and saws.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections of welds to ensure compliance with AWS standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace while adhering to all OSHA safety protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• AWS Certification (Certified Welder).
• Experience with robotic welding systems.
• Previous experience in automotive or heavy machinery manufacturing.
