As our new Marine Technical Sales Specialist, you will step straight into the action, turning complex vessel requirements into precise propulsion solutions and building lasting professional relationships across the maritime community.

This full-time, permanent position is based on-site at our Bradenton facility, where you will collaborate directly with our experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound technical inquiries from boat owners, captains, marinas, and marine facilities.
  • Conduct detailed discovery to gather essential information regarding vessel specifications, engine setups, and operational goals.
  • Evaluate customer requirements to recommend, size, and specify the ideal propellers and complementary propulsion hardware.
  • Prepare accurate technical quotations, process orders efficiently, and follow up proactively on open sales opportunities.
  • Utilize internal sales, inventory, and accounting software to maintain accurate customer documentation and manage orders.
  • Expand your product knowledge continuously, participating in technical training sessions, occasional client visits, and industry events.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in a sales, customer service, or technical account support role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a genuine interest in understanding complex equipment and technical product applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a confident, professional telephone presence.
  • Solid logical thinking and basic mathematical skills to evaluate technical data and calculate product specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, organize time effectively, and maintain meticulous documentation.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Bradenton and undertake occasional travel for training or customer visits as required.
