Role Overview
As a Grocery Associate, you will be the face of our retail operations, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service while maintaining a high standard of store presentation. You will play a vital role in the daily operations of the store, from stock replenishment to processing transactions, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for every visitor.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Provide friendly and efficient service, assisting customers with product location and enquiries to enhance their shopping experience.
- Stock Management: Replenish shelves, rotate stock according to expiry dates (FIFO), and ensure products are displayed neatly and correctly priced.
- Point of Sale Operations: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the till system while handling various payment methods.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organised shopping environment by performing regular housekeeping duties and following health and safety protocols.
- Inventory Support: Assist with deliveries, unloading goods, and reporting any stock discrepancies or damaged items to the management team.
