Chief Technology Officer

Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technical department and shape our long-term technology roadmap. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for aligning our technological resources with our business goals, overseeing product development, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the overall technology strategy to ensure the scalability, security, and performance of our platform.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering organisation, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for competitive advantage and product enhancement.
• Product Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and system improvements.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with other C-suite executives to communicate technical risks, opportunities, and resource requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or in a similar senior leadership role within a fast-paced technology environment.
• Strong background in software architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and modern development methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience in scaling start-ups through Series B and beyond.
• Active involvement in the open-source community or industry-leading technical forums.
