Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) | Medellín, Colombia (Remote)

Location: Remote in Medellín, Colombia (virtual). In-person trainings once per month (centrally located office in Medellín). Start date: January 2026 to early-February 2026 Compensation: $2,500 USD base + $2,500 USD commission

Overview

Senior, high-activity outbound role focused on generating qualified opportunities through high-volume calls and email outreach. You will engage C-level and VP-level decision-makers, manage follow-up rigorously, and consistently hit quota in the US market.

Responsibilities

  • Run high-volume outbound calling and email outreach to generate qualified meetings and opportunities.
  • Prospect into traditional industries including manufacturing, staffing, healthcare, finance, and logistics.
  • Speak with senior stakeholders (VP, C-level) and drive clear next steps.
  • Execute disciplined follow-up across multi-touch sequences.
  • Maintain accurate CRM hygiene: activity logging, notes, stages, and next steps.
  • Partner with Growth/Revenue/Operations to improve messaging, targeting, and outbound performance.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Native-sounding English accent with clear, confident spoken delivery.
  • Native or near-native English writing ability (professional business emails).
  • 2–3+ years of outbound BDR/SDR experience in high-volume environments.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Demonstrated ability to book meetings with VP/C-level decision-makers.
  • Experience selling into the US market.
  • Willingness to attend monthly in-person trainings in Medellín.

Preferred

  • Experience with B2B SaaS or technology-enabled services.
  • Comfort prospecting into traditional industries.
  • Strong objection handling and discovery fundamentals.
  • CRM proficiency (HubSpot or Salesforce) and modern outbound tools.

Interview Exercises

  • Mock cold call (3–5 minutes): Enterprise-style scenario; goal is to secure a qualified next step. Two attempts with feedback after the first.
  • Mock follow-up email (4–5 sentences): True follow-up referencing the call; focused on one clear business problem and outcome.
