The Role
We’re working with a UK-based medical recruitment business looking for an experienced Medical Recruitment Sourcer to support permanent and temporary placements across London and the wider UK.
This is a hands-on role focused on active candidate sourcing, screening, and delivery, as well as supporting temporary desk administration and aftercare. You’ll work closely with the owner and founder, supporting live roles and maintaining strong candidate pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing & Delivery
- Actively source and screen candidates for UK medical roles (doctors, nurses, GPs, allied health professionals)
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter, CV Library, and Bullhorn
- Manage applicant flow alongside proactive headhunting
- Submit only well-assessed, high-quality candidates aligned to role requirements
Database & Administration
- Maintain accurate records in Bullhorn ATS
- Register new candidates, companies, and contacts correctly
- Support temporary workforce administration, including compliance, job specs, and aftercare
- Send regular email updates and mailshots for live temp roles
Lead Identification
- Identify and log new hiring companies and vacancies
- Extract relevant contact details from CVs and job adverts
- Flag potential new opportunities to the business
Screening & Candidate Management
- Conduct telephone or video screening interviews
- Use TestGorilla assessments where required
- Provide clear and timely feedback to candidates throughout the process
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience in UK medical recruitment (permanent and/or temporary)
- Strong sourcing and screening capability
- Comfortable working within structured processes
- Clear, professional communicator (email and phone)
- Strong attention to compliance and candidate experience
Desirable
- Experience supporting locum or temporary medical desks
- Familiarity with Bullhorn ATS
