Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders
• Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and respectful environment
• Help with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in clients’ health or wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and other team members to ensure holistic care
• Uphold the dignity, privacy, and independence of every client

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping others and making a difference
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate nature
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential—full training will be provided
• Relevant certifications (such as NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care) are an advantage
