This notice explains what happens to your information when you take an AI interview with Alfa. It adds detail to our privacy policy, which still applies. Alfa Technology Recruitment Ltd ("Alfa", "we") is responsible for this processing.

What the AI interview is
The AI interview is a short conversation with Lisa, Alfa's AI interviewer, by video or by audio only. Lisa asks questions about the job you applied for and responds to what you say. The conversation is run by specialist providers that turn your speech into text and generate Lisa's voice and video.

What we collect, why and who sees it
| Information | What we do with it | How AI is involved | Who can see it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Recording (video and audio, or audio only in an audio-only interview) | Keep a record of your interview so the hiring team can watch or listen to it. | AI watches or listens to the recording to write the transcript and to check that the interview worked. | The hiring team, any recruitment partner acting for them, and Alfa staff for support and quality checks. |
| Transcript (a written record of what you and Lisa said) | Let the hiring team read your answers and jump to parts of the recording. | AI writes the transcript and divides it into topics. | As above. |
| Recording check | Make sure the interview took place properly before it is assessed. | AI records whether you appeared and could be heard, how many questions you answered, whether you engaged with them, and signs that someone else was answering for you. It does not judge your suitability for the job. | Alfa staff and the hiring team. |
| Suitability assessment | Help the hiring team decide who to take forward. | AI compares your answers, together with your resume and application, against the job's requirements set by the hiring team, and gives its reasons. | The hiring team and any recruitment partner acting for them. |
| Technical details (start and end times, length, whether you used a phone or computer, results of the camera and microphone check) | Run the interview, fix problems and limit how many times an interview can be restarted. | None. | Alfa staff. |

How the assessment affects you
The suitability assessment can affect whether you are shortlisted for the job. The hiring team sees it next to your recording and transcript, and people on the hiring team make the hiring decisions. You can ask for a person to review any automated decision about you (see section 6).
-
AI training
Alfa does not use your interview, transcript or assessment to train AI models.
-
Where your information is kept and for how long
Recordings, transcripts and assessments are stored in the UK (London). The live interview and the AI processing use providers that may process your information in the US or the EU, under the safeguards described in section 7 of our privacy policy. We keep your information for as long as described in section 4 of our privacy policy, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

-
Ask for a person to review a decision. You can ask for a member of the team to review any automated decision about you, explain your point of view and contest it.
-
Your other rights. You can ask to see, correct or delete your interview data, object to its use or withdraw your consent, as described in section 8 of our privacy policy.
