Product update
Interview scheduling is here. From shortlist to interview in Alfa.
Finding a great candidate is only half the job. Getting them in front of the right people, at the right time, used to take a string of emails, a separate calendar tool and a video link from somewhere else. Now it all happens in Alfa.
Move a candidate to Interview, and they book a time from your availability. Meet them on a video call in Alfa with Lisa’s suggested questions beside you, then find the recording on their profile when the call ends.
Move a candidate. They book the time.
Drag a candidate into the Interview column and Alfa emails them a link to book their interview. They pick a time that suits them from your availability, and both of you get a calendar invite. If plans change, they can rebook from the same link and the invite updates. Move them out of the column before they book and the unused invitation is withdrawn. No more back and forth over email to find a time that works.

Your hours, your rules
Set your weekly hours and time zone once in the new Calendar. Choose how long an interview lasts, how much notice you need and how far ahead candidates can book. Add breaks before and after each call so interviews never run back to back, and use date overrides to block out a holiday or open up an extra afternoon. Every booking and upcoming interview sits in one list, ready for the day ahead.
Second and third rounds, built in
Hiring rarely ends with one conversation. Add an interview booking list to your board for each later stage, such as a 90-minute second interview, and give it its own call length. Moving a candidate into that list sends a booking link for that stage, even when they have already completed an earlier round. Each stage keeps its own invitation, so your pipeline shows exactly where every candidate stands.
Walk in prepared
As soon as an invitation goes out, Lisa writes suggested questions based on the candidate’s experience and what the role needs. They appear on a new Interview tab on the candidate’s profile, and land in your inbox once the time is booked. Every interview email to the candidate sits in their Inbox thread too, so the whole team can see what was sent and when.
Meet them in Alfa
Interviews take place on a video call in Alfa, with nothing for the candidate to install. While you talk, a panel beside the call keeps their profile, resume and Lisa’s questions in view. Ready early? Meet now moves the interview to the current time, opens the room and emails the candidate a link to join.
Every conversation, on the record
Interviews are recorded and transcribed, and both appear on the candidate’s Interview tab once the call ends. Teammates who could not join can watch the conversation for themselves before the next decision, and nobody has to rely on memory or scribbled notes when it is time to compare candidates.
